Background
China represents a significant opportunity for UK companies to reduce manufacturing costs. However, moving production to China can be a time consuming and costly process, which has primarily been an option for very large companies only. China Works was established to help customers realise the financial benefit of sourcing from China, while minimising the problems involved.
Our services
China Works help UK companies and individuals to successfully lower their design and manufacturing costs by moving production to China. We are a UK and Shanghai based China sourcing and manufacturing company, with a passion for excellence, customer service and quality.
In addition to low cost manufacturing, we also provide a UK based low cost design and prototyping service - to help customers from initial concept development, through to production.
Our team of bi-lingual engineers and designers specialise in bespoke products and components made from plastic, metal, glass or ceramics. Established in 2004, we currently serve over 30 customers across the UK and Europe.
Our main services include:
- China manufacturing - we help companies produce original plastic, metal, ceramic or electronic products through our established network of manufacturers in Eastern China
- China sourcing - we help companies source off the shelf products and supplies, including parts and components
- Product design - our UK based team carry out product design at any stage of the process - from initial concept development through to engineering drawings (CAD/CAM) and prototyping
