Overview

At China Works we offer an affordable, pragmatic design service. Our UK based design team carry out product development at any stage of the design process, ensuring the most important thing to our clients - that they get to the next step of the commercialisation process as quickly and as cost effectively as possible.

Unlike design consultancies who try to control all aspects of the product development process, so they can charge a premium price, we only carry out the work at hand.

Pricing policy

We charge a flat rate of £25 per hour all design work completed.

Our team

Our team have experience working with a wide range of clients from many different backgrounds, including individual inventors with small product design projects to large manufacturers and retailers. We pride ourselves in being able to tune into any product design project and provide the results you’re looking for.

Our team is managed by Simon Phelps, an award-winning designer, who has developed products that have appeared on both the BBC and in the Financial Times. Simon manages a number of our design associates, all of whom have a wealth of experience in industry and academia.
